ReadyPrint for iPhone / iPod Touch 3.0

This is a simple app that can change the ready display text phone found on the LCD of most HP printers. Where it usually says something like "READY", it can now say "FEED ME SEYMOUR!" I'm sure you can come up with something wittier.

It works by initiating a network connection to a printer on your local network and issuing a @PJL RDYMSG command. To set the printer text back to it's factory default, just turn it off and back on. You must be on the same network that your printer is for this to work. Firewalls can sometimes block access so check your documentation.

Obviously, you need to know your printer's IP address for this to work. You also need to know the printer's port number but it is almost always 9100 by default.
